Haha ;) You probably expected that from me. ;...YES! Haha ;) You probably expected that from me. ;)

Seriously, though we have never lived in a "fancy" neighborhood, our neighbors (usually ages 40+) have all told us that they LOVE seeing our clothesline full of clothes! I'm not sure what demographic of people dislike clotheslines, but there is definitely also a demographic of folks who LIKE seeing laundry hung outside. :)

But, if you're really worried, you could always go around and ask them if they mind... take a plate of cookies along. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238464117638942071.post-41388678249240085552008-05-02T15:22:00.000-04:002008-05-02T15:22:00.000-04:00YES!!! Hopefully you have nice neighbors & they will be understanding, but if not? THen it is YOUR yard. They can put up a fence!
If you are truly concerned, though, then try to put it a not so obvious place. I can understand both sides, but i have been less then happy with my neighbors decisions in what they do in their yards plenty of times. But i get over it & move on. I am sure your neighbors will too. THey will just have to take some time to get used to it.
Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238464117638942071.post-42537210680088091232008-04-28T02:33:00.000-04:002008-04-28T02:33:00.000-04:00As large as the yards are and the distance between...As large as the yards are and the distance between the backs of the houses, I think it would be perfectly acceptable to. With nine peoples laundry, would you need to put up more than one clothesline? More than two might be overbearing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
